A Half Day to Nourish Mental
and Physical Wellbeing
With Mindfulness Facilitator Carmel O’Hara
10am - 2pm Saturday 28th September
The morning is for anyone who has an interest in mindfulness and for those who would like to refresh their practice.
It is a morning to take time out to nourish and refresh ourselves by engaging with various formal and less formal practices so that we can deepen our mindfulness practice and develop a kind and compassionate relationship with ourselves.
Facilitator: Carmel O’Hara MSc (Mindfulness UCD), M. Med Sc Psychotherapy, Reg MTAI (Mindfulness Teachers Association of Ireland), FTAI, ICP, ECP, has been engaging in her own mindfulness practice for many years and she continues to find it to be a source of nourishment in supporting her to handle, and to respond to the challenges of everyday living. Carmel is part of the mindfulness facilitation drop in team at Oscailt and she has facilitated MBSR, MBCT programmes. Carmel has also run programmes on Mindfulness Based Relapse Prevention - MBRP - and she facilitates the weekly drop in Mindfulness at Arc House Cancer Support. She is also a counsellor/psychotherapist for the past 33 years.
