Mari Kennedy
(087 9150264)
Mari is a qualified Hatha Yoga teacher, Life Coach and Journey Dance Instructor, who has been practicing yoga for 11 years. Three years ago she “took the leap”, moving from a career in Arts and Politics to devote her time fully to teaching yoga and wellness, her true passion.
Having qualified as a yoga instructor in Ireland she traveled to the US in 2005, where she lived and worked in the Kripalu Centre for Yoga and Health in Massachusetts. Whilst in Kripalu, she studied with Yoganand Michael Carroll (Kripalu yoga), Leslie Kaminoff (The Breathing Project New York) and she completed Level 1 training of the Radiant Child Yoga Programme with Shakta Kaur Khalsa. In June completed a Foundation in Somatic Studies with Joan Davis.
Her approach to yoga is inspired by a mixture of traditions including Hatha, Iyengar, Vinyasa flow, and Kripalu yoga. Her great joy is in sharing what she herself has learned. Her yoga classes are about getting out of the mind and into the body, experiencing the wondrous wisdom of yoga and ultimately providing a nurturing experiential space where everyone can be present in their own body. Her style is also influenced by her love of movement, dance and music.
Mari also facilitates Wellness and Transformation workshops in various locations and organises YOGAtastic holidays!

Feldenkrais Instructor
Mark Keogh
(0861659422)
Mark is a fully qualified Feldenkrais Method practitioner following 4 years of training in Basel, Switzerland. Mark began working with the method 10 years ago and went on to complete his training in 2003. Since then he has been teaching group classes and workshops (called “AWARENESS THROUGH MOVEMENT”) and one-to-one sessions (called “FUNCTIONAL INTEGRATION”) in Switzerland and Ireland. He is now based in Dublin.
Mark’s interest in the Feldenkrais Method developed out of his interest in movement and meditation as well as a wish to eliminate chronic pain and find out how much of our selves is re-programmable. The method opens up enjoyable ways to go into all of these questions without becoming merely intellectual exercises.
Marks has a background in teaching, literature, meditation and philosophy and is currently beginning a new course of study which will bring together the work of Feldenkrais with mediation, the latest in neuro-science and Rosenbergs non-violent communication techniques.
