Breath by Breath: Mindfulness of Breathing - Workshop

Being aware of how it feels to breathe, moment by moment and breath by breath, is a simple but profound act that has many benefits, calming the mind, soothing the nervous system, and connecting us in a deep way to simply being alive. In this workshop, we’ll explore more deeply the act of breathing. We’ll look at how we can engage with the breath within meditation and in daily life, to quieten a busy mind, to release tension and stress, to help deal with difficult experience, to appreciate pleasant experience, and to cultivate self-kindness and connectedness with others. The workshop combines led meditations, reflective exercises and group discussions, and is open to all, regardless of meditation experience.
